On this page you can search our website (stoelzelsoftwaretech.com) for one or more words, or a
simple phrase.
However, currently, the search is limited to HTML and other files (e.g. source code files)
with static content.
That is, dynamically (i.e. on-request) generated pages, such as, for example,
the search results themselves, are not searched.
Help, Examples, and Supplementary Information
Prior to initiating a search you should be aware of the following.
•
Server Response
Note, that, depending on the speed of your Internet connection, the entered search criteria,
and the load on our server, a search may take up to several minutes to complete.
•
Security and Privacy
If this, the "Search Website", page was opened using a secure, encrypted,
Internet connection (identifiable by the "https" preceding the address to this page
in your browser's address bar) the search results will also be returned using a
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection.
Furthermore, if the links to the actual search results are opened in the same browser
window/tab as the results page, they too, will be requested and transmitted
via a SSL connection.
•
Search Results Page(s)
The results of a search are always listed on a single page
in the order as (they were) found in the folder/directory hierarchy
of our website. That is, they are not sorted by what other users searched for
or any other criteria.
It is therefore not recommended to search for single words like
application, downloads, support, help,
or other words that commonly appear in the context of Internet/computer related documents,
as this, apart from slowing down the search considerably,
is unlikely to prove to be a shortcut to what you were searching for.
•
Searching for a Single Keyword
1.
Enter the keyword to search for in the
Keyword(s) Edit Field.
2.
Click the Search button.
3.
Wait for the results of the search to be displayed.
This example would search for the word management, ignoring character case.
It would therefore return all HTML documents that contain the word management,
written Management, MANAGEMENT, manaGement, or in any other combination of upper and
lower case characters. Conversely, if the "case sensitive checkbox" were checked
it would only return documents that contain the word written entirely in lower case
characters (i.e. as shown in the edit field, below).

Searching for Multiple Keywords
To narrow down the search and reduce the number of returned pages
you can specify more than one keyword.
The search will then return only pages that contain all
the words.
1.
Enter the keywords to search for in the
Keyword(s) Edit Field, separating each word from the
next by a single blank/space.
2.
Make sure that the "phrase check box" is not checked.
3.
Click the Search button.
4.
Wait for the results of the search to be displayed.
The following examples would all search for the three words
business, management, and information.

Searching for a Phrase
In addition to searching for documents that contain one, or a combination of,
individual words, you can also search for an entire phrase or sentence. The
search will then only return pages (on our website) that contain the exact
sequence of words, punctuation marks, and special characters (e.g. slashes,
backslashes, parentheses, etc.) as entered in the edit field.
1.
Enter the phrase to search for in the Keywords Edit Field.
2.
Check the "phrase" check box.
3.
Click the Search button.
4.
Wait for the results of the search to be displayed.
This example would search for the phrase Virtual Reality Modelling Language (VRML) Version
