The LFNAlias Close App Without Saving Dialog

Dialog that is displayed to inform you that you are about to close the current instance of the LFNAlias application ("app") whithout having saved the Output Editor's current contents.

Graphic that symbolizes that the dialog constitutes a warning.
The warning icon can vary in look, color, and size, depending on the Windows version/edition and the system/display settings under which LFNAlias is being run. Under most, more recent Windows versions it consists of a black exclamation mark, on a yellow, triangular background.
The icon depicted in Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.921 is that shown under Windows Vista, using high resolution, colour display settings.

The Dialog Text

Describes what caused the dialog to be displayed and asks you how you would like to proceed. The text also provides information on the consequences of closing the dialog by means of each of the three available buttons.

Suppress this Dialog Check Box

As long as the check box is not checked (as in Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.923) when it is closed, the dialog will continue to be displayed whenever you attempt to close an instance of the LFNAlias application whithout having saved the text in the Output Editor.
If the dialog is closed while the Suppress this Dialog Check Box is checked (as in Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.924), it will not be displayed.
Whether the Close App Without Saving Dialog is/should be displayed (or not) can also be configured and/or determined on the Dialogs Tab Sheet of the Preferences Dialog.
Note also, that like the buttons at the bottom of the dialog, the Suppress this Dialog Check Box's text (to the right of the check box itself) is always in the language of the operating system's user interface (i.e. that of the Windows shell), and not in that of the installed LFNAlias version.

Yes Button

Closes the dialog, saves the text in the Output Editor to a a new or existing file, and subsequently closes the instance of the LFNAlias application which caused the dialog to be displayed.

No Button

Closes both, the dialog and the application, without saving the Output Editor's contents.
Note, that the caption of this button is always in the language of the user interface of the operating system (i.e. Windows) and not in the language of the installed version of LFNAlias.

Cancel Button

Aborts/cancels closing the current instance of the LFNAlias application and closes the dialog.
