The LFNAlias Create New File Without Saving Dialog
Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.900
Dialog that is displayed to inform you that you are about to create a new file without having saved the Output Editor's current text.

Warning Icon
Warning Icon Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.901
Graphic that symbolizes that the dialog constitutes a warning.
The warning icon can vary in look, color, and size, depending on the Windows version/edition and the system/display settings under which LFNAlias is being run. Under most, more recent Windows versions it consists of a black exclamation mark, on a yellow, triangular background.
The icon depicted in Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.901 is that shown under Windows Vista, using high resolution, colour display settings.

The Dialog Text
Dialog Text Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.902
Describes what caused the dialog to be displayed and asks you how you would like to proceed. The text also provides information on the effects of closing the dialog by means of each of the three available buttons.

Suppress this Dialog Check Box
Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.903 Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.904
As long as the check box is not checked (as in Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.903) when it is closed, the dialog will continue to be displayed whenever you attempt to create a new file whithout having saved the text in the Output Editor.
If the dialog is closed while the Suppress this Dialog Check Box is checked (as in Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.904), it will not be displayed.
Whether the Create New File Without Saving Dialog is/should be displayed (or not) can also be configured and/or determined on the Dialogs Tab Sheet of the Preferences Dialog.
Note also, that like the buttons at the bottom of the dialog, the Suppress this Dialog Check Box's text (to the right of the check box itself) is always in the language of the operating system's user interface (i.e. that of the Windows shell), and not in that of the installed LFNAlias version.

Yes Button
Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.907
Closes the dialog and saves the file in the Output Editor.
If the dialog is closed by means of this button, LFNAlias will either save the current contents to the file already open in the Output Editor or display the Save Output Dialog, with which you can save it to a new or existing file.
Note, that the caption of this button is always in the language of the user interface of the operating system (i.e. Windows) and not in the language of the installed version of LFNAlias.

No Button
Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.908
Closes the dialog, without saving the Output Editor's contents.
Note, that the caption of this button is always in the language of the user interface of the operating system (i.e. Windows) and not in the language of the installed version of LFNAlias.

Cancel Button
Fig. 2.1.1.2.2.1.0.909
Aborts/cancels the creation of a new file and closes the dialog.
Note, that the caption of this button is always in the language of the user interface of the operating system (i.e. Windows) and not in the language of the installed version of LFNAlias.
